To adopt a puppy, you don't need the paid version of the game. No specific level is required either.

Note: you  can only adopt a generation 2 pet, not a generation 1 one. Actually, a generation 1 pet is your main dog, the one you start the game with, and you can't send or adopt a main dog in this game.

1) How to adopt

Click on the gift puppy icon in the top middle of the screen.

A message will appear where you need to enter the adoption number. Adoption number can be send by  an owner who have given birth to a generation 2 pet and is willing to send him to you. Once you have it, enter it in the blank message and apply on the "confirm" icon.

A message will be sent to the owner. Once the owner has accepted, the puppy will be yours.

Note: if you have already two pets, you can't adopt anymore puppy.

2) How to get your puppy adopted

First you need to breed and give birth to a 2 generation pet. To see how to breed, consult the "Breeding" page. Once you have your puppy, select him and click on the "gift puppy" icon just on the right of his name.

A message will appear asking you to confirm you want to send your puppy. Select "Confirm", and you will see the adoption number of your puppy.

Give the adoption number to the adopter by sending him a letter or by writting it on his guestbook. Once the adopter has entered the adoption number, you will receive a message to accept. Accept, then, the puppy will be sent away to the adopter.
